“It was a nice experience and definitely enjoyed it, if it was great I would have said so. Our toilet seat was broken the tents were a bit tired, and all in all I think an 8/10. The front of house staff were fantastic, the driver on the expensive 4x4 transfer from Mezougah to the tent was not so friendly but nor was he rude or unpleasant so those are the reasons for our rating”

“I arrived early morning. But Lahcen(the owner of the hotel) picked up us in supratour bus station. And let us use the room we made reservation! We enjoyed 4x4 jeep tour including sand board and sunset. It was very good time for us. And Lahcen let us stay in a room to wait our return bus after check out~ I really recommend this nice auberge.”

We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. “A beautiful unique place right at the sand dunes. The description "connected with a shopping center" is wrong, there is no shopping center. It is connected with a well-equipped camping site. The last stretch of the access road goes across sand, unpaved. Camel rides are right next door. Beautiful sunsets, sky full of stars, open-fire barbeque for delicious food which comes in huge portions and with many tasty sides. WiFi works in the common area but not in the simple rooms and the water didn't...

“The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. I wish it'd been more authentic and less "fancy". I should also warn that the heat does not and has not worked in the camp in some time. We...
