“La Casa Grande is a boutique hotel in lovely ancient home in the old part of Arcos, atop the edge of the high cliff rising out of the surrounding river valley. Our room had great character, a comfortable bed and a very nice 2-level balcony. We got drinks from the reception desk and brought them up to a beautiful rooftop deck to watch the sunset. And breakfast was outstanding. The location is perfect for wandering around the old town. However, be prepared--one must park quite a distance away in...

“Perfect location combining parking with access to old town. Lots of good restaurants next door.
I had problem with hot water second day and was moved to a new room since not possible to fix quickly.
Needed to urgently print a document whoosh they helped with. Also helped when I arrived late the first evening.
Overall very attentive and friendly. Can give my highest recommendation.”
