"My stay at Marine Troon was outstanding. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay a memorable one. The service was on par with any 5 star hotel I have been to. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was solid. The convenience to several of Scotland's beat golf courses was amazing. "Staff were excellent, helpful and polite. Room was clean although soap, was open on sink. In morning turned shower on, drain was blocked, as tray was low rim, water overflowed quickly on bathroom floor, dried with towels into toilet. Went to reception, staff came along quickly and sorted out vacant room to have shower. Breakfast good selection, bacon not very well cooked, otherwise ok. "
