"I was very happy with this stay the staff was friendly, our room was very clean and maintained throughout our visit. There was coffee available all day long in the dining area. Every morning they served a great breakfast which was different and free every day. This will definitely be a go to hotel for future trips to San Antonio."

"The fact that it is a historic hotel right next to the Alamo is nice but some amenities could be updated and still keep the Crockett appeal. The bed was comfortable but the carpet could be updated. The bathroom could use a refresh on the faucets; the bathtub faucet never stopped dripping and the closet was roomy but old sliding doors. The staff was friendly but feel that when we asked about parking, we were told the valet was the cheapest option at $49 per day. When walking around the area, found a public parking lot around the corner that was much less costly than valet. "

"Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and quiet, nice pool and outdoor space although there were only two pool lounge chairs and one of them had a big rip in the seat. Hotel minutes from the airport and mall/shopping/restaurants. Overall I would recommend this place if you are staying in the San Antonio area."
