The location is excellent, just 10 minutes walk to the main restaurants, faro, and tourism points, bus and train stations, the staff is very kind, all of them, also they have info about tours, it worth it.
Excellent location, and really well run. Both indoor and outdoor communal areas. Compact but well appointed kitchen with two fridge freezers. Friendly staff, and great cleaners. Great for an overnight stay, or for longer - I stayed 3 nights.

Excellent staff attention, cleaning through the day, showers were nice and hot, toilets were spotless, location is 7 minutes walk from the bus station. Great hostel
The hostel had an excellent rooftop area with chairs and tables. The kitchen and washing machine were easy to use. The common areas were well kept. Great brochures available about activities in the area. Thanks for the book exchange.
Pros: close to food, old town, staff was friendly and helpful, roof top common area was very social.
Cons: only con is that the toilets and showers in the men’s bathroom were so cramped, on the toilet my knees were pressed up against the door. Shower was of similar dimensions.
Best hostel of all. This is an enormous old building but perfectly upkept and designed to accomodate anyone. It’s accessible, quiet enough to get a good night sleep even in a 12-person dorm (which i did), with a great community and activities in the living room. Not to mention the terrace! Beautiful place to stay a night or two for sure
Quiet location and it is not far from the main Bus Station in Faro.
Booking online is cheaper than on the counter.
Toilet and shower facilities are great, spacious and clean. There is a place for cooking a great lounge.
We really loved this place. The building is stunning with old features and a roof terrace. The staff were really friendly. Our private room was quite comfortable. There was a pop up bar in the evening that was fun. We were woken up once or twice by young people returning from their nights out - it remains a hostel obviously - but we'd book again if/when we're next in Faro.
Staff was delightful. Super helpful and accommodating. Rooms were great. Bathrooms as well. Beds were a little hard. But that would be my only comment. Lots of restaurants close by. Very walkable. And close to the bus terminal.

I only stayed for 6 hours; I was late arriving and after contacting reception they waited for me. I was early leaving and someone was there at reception to give me my €5 key deposit back. Lovely old building that has retained its character. Bathrooms were a combination of new fittings and old rustic building. I would definetly stay again.

There was a misunderstanding about our booking as it was booked a day earlier. When we showed up at the hotel they were fully booked and offered us a full refund but we would have to find a new hotel. That full refund never happened!
Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Personnel très accueillant.
