Ferguson Valley, Maylands hotel rooms at the Independent

I needed an electrical plug adapter and they provided one that I could use for this stay. Reception was very helpful on all things. Plus they stored a suitcase while I went on a 6 day trip. Thanks to housekeeping also for a great job

Fantastic stay. Hubby and I recently stayed at Crown Towers (Perth) and both agreed that the attentive service that we received at The Westin was miles better from the front office, bar, food & beverage team at Garum and the friendly concierge. The room was spacious and comfortable with lovely views over the city. The Westin Run service was brilliant, I had a map of running/walking routes brought up to me within a few minutes of my enquiry. A lovely little place very close to the airport. The owner clearly has put effort into making the room comfortable & pleasant. There is a loveseat, small table & nice tub for a bath as well as a shower. The cereal, toast, & juice were all a good breakfast before heading to the airport. Owner took us to the terminal in his suv. He was also accommodating about our need to drop our stuff off early so that we could return our RV. There are several RV rental places a short walk from the B&B.

Very welcoming and clean.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this property. The hotel is modern and in excellent condition. The room was comfortable and adequate in size. We took advantage of its central location to enjoy breakfast at several local restaurants. The onsite self-laundry was very welcome. I compared many hotels in the area before choosing this one. Save yourself the trouble and just book this one. You won't regret it.

Very clean and updated hotel, close to the airport. Free parking and very coperative staff.

Loved everything about the Alex, but as usual, it was the people that made the real difference... Cool and "hip", but unpretentious and very comfortable. Probably one of the best locations I've ever experienced in a hotel, with great restaurants one block away and great museums one block in the other direction. Will be back!
