The course is frequently used in conjunction with Chaska's other well known course, the private Hazeltine National Golf Club, which has hosted several national golf tournaments, including 2 PGA championships. In 2003 the Chaska Town Course co-hosted the U.S. Amateur, which isn't the PGA, but not to shabby for this municipally ran public course. No matter how awesome the course, when you here thunder it's time to get off!
