"Expensive for what it is but the good staff makes up for it because good staff is hard to find. Yes, it’s shared bathroom and kitchen. Rooms are not anything fancy but they get the job done. If you’re on a budget and only in Anchorage for a short time I can’t recommend it enough. Be aware, Anchorage has some characters . But the owners do a good job of scaring them off. Everything is kept very clean. I felt safe the whole time. I do wish there was separate bathroom for men and women. But that’s about it."

"The girl that checked us in was very friendly. We went back and asked her the next day about when the parade was coming thru on Saturday morning so we would know what time we needed to leave in the morning to miss the closed road. She looked it up for us. We met Tina, the owner, when we were checking out. She offered to help me carry my suitcase! She was very sweet. The property had been remodeled two years ago and it was really nicely done and very clean. We enjoyed our two nights there. The neighborhood was quiet, the beds were comfortable. It was a great location."
