My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here. Borgo Pignano is truly one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been in my life. The property is located in the most ideal spot in Florence. 10 minute shuttle to the city center while being tucked away in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood in the foothills overlooking the city. You get the Tuscany experience while being in the city. Truly the best of both worlds. The staff made our experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond and were the most attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly staff I’ve ever experienced. Shout out to Ricardo for helping curate the best experiences. The entire staff is world class. This property was the highlight of our trip and we traveled throughout several cities in the country. The restaurant is incredible and the staff went the extra mile with curating our wines and recommending dishes. One of our favorite meals in Italy! The spa was also one of our highlights, with an amazing sauna/steam room/cold room, plus the gym is top tier. Our room was straight out of a storybook with gorgeous views and excellent amenities. Era and was renovated to perfection; historical character in tact without sacrificing any luxury. The grounds are stunningly beautiful, the pool is the largest in Florence. We would take this property over any other luxury hotel in the area. A true hidden gem. If you have the opportunity to visit Borgo Pignano, you absolutely must.
