We had an easy check-in. Friendly staff welcomed us and we settled in quickly so we could enjoy the sites. We walked to all tours and restaurants. The restaurant next door was so good, we ate their twice! The property is well located to everything - food, shopping and more!

We loved our stay at Dimora del Cardinale! It was very clean, big room with a comfy bed, big bathroom and even a pull out for our daughter to sleep on. Safe and in a great area. The staff was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Florence to vacation!

The property is very charming and excellent to walk everywhere. There's a cafe on the corner with great coffee and breakfast options. Around the hotel there are plenty of cute stores for some shopping. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and nice.

We had an incredible stay at Dimora del Cardinale! A beautiful historic hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious with vintage furniture. Only complaint is that our safe did not work + the shower head needs to be replaced - we had a light drizzle as a shower. Despite that we felt very safe and the hosts were very responsive over WhatsApp. The cleaner Rosie comes everyday and is an absolute angel! The location is central to absolutely everything you need right on the Main Street with all the best leather shops and close to tons of restaurants. Excellent time in Florence!

Make sure you stay here when in Florence!

This was a beautiful room perfect for our family of 5! Clean, very tastefully decorated, and best of all it had 2 full bathrooms, which made our lives a lot easier! Enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Sara was extremely helpful!

The staff was so friendly. They met us an hour early to let us into our room instead of having to store our luggage. It's a 15-minute walk from the train station, but once you're here, it's a great location. Very close to dining and shopping. There is a laundromat two minutes away, which was really convenient. The room was spacious and gorgeous. The apartment is also fabulous with a gorgeous salon and sitting area. We just loved it!

Hotel Dimora del Cardinale was the most wonderful hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff was so incredibly kind and attentive. It was also in a great area and was walkable to everything! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who would like to come to Florence.

Fabulous stay in Florence

This is an atmospheric, wonderful place to stay in a perfect location. The room was huge with high ceilings. The bathroom is updated and super clean. Ac worked very well.

The staff was very friendly and always available. We got locked out as the main door was stuck however the staff came with a lock smith right away as soon as they could and it was solved fairly quickly. Rosie I believe was her name the nice lady who cleaned the rooms was so cheerful and friendly, it felt like we were guests at her house, so hospitable and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and the room was perfect! It was very spacious compared to rooms we stayed in in Rome and Amalfi during the same trip, and the hotel is located in a convenient location not too far from the train and very close to the major sights. The staff was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The hotel itself is very charming and it used to be a chapel or something similar because the walls in the lobby were painted beautifully. The AC and wifi worked very well, too. This was such a unique find and we would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence!

Excellent stay at Dimora Del Cardinale

I feel, this property is a hidden gem in Florence very close to all major tourist attractions. Very well maintained. The house lady was very attentive and ensured the rooms we were kept tidy and clean. Big thanks to her. 2 bathrooms, 2 working A/C, and a water cooler - can't ask more. Also, they have complimentary cookies, coffee, variety of Tea .... it was an excellent experience.
