Nice little touches like nespresso machines, cool room lighting, DS & Durga shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and complimentary Saratoga Springs bottled spring water refreshed every day are also worth noting. There’s a very nice gym, a wonderful restaurant inside the hotel and the location is perfect - situated in one of DC’s most vibrant neighborhoods, DuPont Circle, where you can walk within 5-7 minutes to excellent restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, bakeries, grocery stores and markets. The DC subway system known as the Metro is also a 7 min walk from the hotel - you can hop on the train and easily get to the downtown world-renowned Smithsonian museums (all free to enter, some require reservations in advance for timing, but still free of charge), or use the Metro to explore other neighborhoods in DC. Within a 15 minute walk, you’ll find other super fun neighborhoods like Logan Circle, U Street Corridor, and Shaw. One more thing — I love where the Lyle Hotel is located - it’s not on a busy commercial city st. next to other hotels and office buildings. It’s tucked in one of the most beautiful residential areas giving it an extra special vibe to come back to after exploring the bustling city "
