"This is definitely a budget hotel. Old hotel or apartments converted. Great location. Over the old Brickskeller beer institution. Easy to walk to buses on MA and PA avenues, short walk from Dupont Circle. Clean. Front desk staff. On the downside, only one plug in my room worked and the lobby has a bit of an "institutional disinfectant" smell. But, perfectly acceptable place for a non-profit or low budget traveler."

"Check-in felt very rushed and we were given a room between the electrical closet and the "telephone" room. We were charged $200 for "amenities" with no explanation of what those were and when a $70 charge appeared on my credit card, I was told it was for the Amenities like Water in the room (which is not even Spring Water), premium WiFi (which had warnings of it being very insecure so I did not use it) and a complimentary Cocktail (who knew??). $35/day for "Amenities" was not worth it. On the positive side... the hotel is attractive, the restaurant is nice and the location great"

"Very convenient location. It was easy to walk from/ to centrally and also right next to DuPont Circle metro station for those days when we didn’t feel like walking. The lifts were a bit slow (with one out of three not working). The rooms were serviced twice a day (including an evening turn down service). Would recommend the hotel"
