I called no less than 15 times to each of the 3 proffered contact numbers when locked out of my room- no answer or call rejected. One of the numbers- on the official property literature and signs outside reception- actually said to me: “ I have nothing to do with this hotel. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!”
