Reception staff very welcoming. Hotel very old and carpets very threadbear in halls and stairs. Bathroom had stain on flooring and there was mildew on bath/shower mat. No plugs by bedside . Mattress very lumpy

We had an excellent stay at the Cromwell's Tap House. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful. The room was small but perfectly adequate with good storage space and a great shower. The bed was comfy and the room and pub itself have real character, being a timber framed building dating back 400 ...
