"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "The Cairn Hotel is a lovely hotel in a great location, with friendly and helpful staff throughout my stay. Whilst my room wasn’t en-suite, my private toilet was 2 steps across the corridor - not big deal, but remember your key otherwise you're locked out of your room Dinner was excellent from a well appointed menu, I had the haggis lasagne which was very well presented, generously portioned, and served efficiently.
