One of the bathroom light bulbs was out and the other was flickering. The middle dresser drawer wouldn't close completely, and it would slowly come open. Mentioned it to the concierge and within 30 minutes both issues were fixed. Bottom of the emergency stairs smelled of urine and the gym was unkempt.

I loved the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly. I would stay there again if I should visit California. I totally appreciated that it was a tourist attraction area.

Great value, super clean hotel, great views, awesome service, delicious breakfast! Special shout outs to Kim and Maria at the front desk. They both went above and beyond to make sure that we were well informed and well taken care of. Kim answered all of our questions and Maria made extra arrangements for us to get a more appropriate room. I can’t say enough about how helpful they were. One request… please bring back the On the Rocks drinks as part of the front desk bar. Also, so sorry to see the price increase for the great salmon and steak dinners. As I have said in prior reviews, those dinners were the best deal in all of Oakland! Very high quality made to order meals for a super reasonable price!
