Small but super hotel!

Fabulously located hotel near the beach and shops. Bike rental available so one can cycle around the beautiful town. Gorgeous rooms with magnificent views and great amenities.

Great property, with up to date decor and amenities. The staff were all very helpful, and great breakfast. Only negatives were that it is a bit of a walk to the beach, and they do not provide guests with an iron, which I found frustrating given that I was traveling out of a suitcase and would have liked to simply steam some items prior to wearing them.

Loved the decor and setting if the hotel, felt very luxurious abd very good value forvthecmoney paid. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in both restaurants. Fab small spa, great massages. Only negative is that the pool is unheated so getting into the water was a bit unpleasant, there was rarely anyone swimming and also the sea was too rough to swim our whole stay (June), that is the only reason why we would not return.

My stay at Hotel Mauritius was absolutely wonderful! We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and it was the best stay I’ve had at any hotel. The property was stunning! Very well maintained, very clean and beautiful all around. From the landscaping, to the amenities such as the pool, the spa, the bar and the restaurant. I did two spa treatments during my stay and the experience was amazing. The hotel also offers a huge selection of bicycles you can use to ride around town. The staff was incredible! They were very kind, extremely helpful with any requests we made and very accommodating in all aspects of our stay. The food and drinks at the hotel restaurant and bar was phenomenal! The food selection was great, everything was delicious and the drinks were made to perfection! The location was perfect! It’s an enjoyable 10 minute walk to the beach and beach clubs. It was also a short walk to the city center where all the restaurants, cafe’s and shops are. We walked or biked around town during our entire stay because of its convenient location. Overall, we had an incredible stay at Hotel Mauritius in Forte Dei Marmi! It was so hard to leave, but we can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you to the entire hotel staff for making our stay such a wonderful experience!

Didn’t feel like a 4* hotel

We had an ok stay at the hotel but for the price paid it didn’t feel like value for money. The unheated hotel pool was too cold for children to play in in May, assume it may be ok in warmer months of the year. We wanted to use the heated jacuzzi but that was broken. The service was ok but staff weren’t attentive to the level we usually receive at 4* hotels. Often no greeting when entering the foyer and having to go to staff for assistance rather than them come to us. The breakfasts were brilliant and the ladies who cleaned the rooms also lovely. We raised a complaint about the stay with the staff on leaving but were told to contact the manager via email. 2 weeks later and we’ve had no response to the original email or the chaser email.

Very comfortable 3 day stay. The hotel is very clean and well kept , bikes were great to have to get around town. There’s a house renovation happening next door which was created some noise one morning but apart from that, it was great
