โThe room was spacious and comfortable. There was a charge for a cooked breakfast but was well worth it. The cold breakfast was included in the price. Pet friendly and will definitely stay here again.โ
โThis property was really beautiful and the staff were so kind! Unfortunately as it's an older building, there is no lift to the rooms so it probably won't be accessible to people with mobility challenges. โ
โGreat little friendly and great vale B&B / Hotel snack in the centre of Leyburn. Friendly staff, breakfast and dinners really good value and a great place to stay!!โ
โGenerally very good stay. Landlady made me feel at home and lent me a parking disc which gave me free parking until 10.00am the next morning.
Very nice cooked breakfast with cereal and proper coffee.
Only small issue was that the curtains let in more street lamp light than I'm used to. Blackout curtains would have been ideal.โ
โThe owner was quite a character full of life and interesting to talk to,although we only stayed one night, based on that stay we would be happy to have stayed longer.the landladyโs cooking was very good and she to was very sociableโ
โThe staff were very welcoming and gracious hosts. Especially Michelle, Demi, Elli, and some of the kitchen staff whose names I didnโt catch. Richmond is a beautiful town, the best thing about it being the people.โ
โSuper staff, spotless and comfortable roomโฆ I had a quiet and very restful sleep. I also had a very nice dinner at the restaurant as well. Breakfast was delivered properly and was very tasty โ I would stay here again!โ
โWe stayed at The Foresters Arms in the king room for 3 nights. The service from check-in to check-out was very easy. The room itself was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff couldnโt do enough, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Places to visit, walks etc. The food was amazing, portions were big and the service was excellent. โ
โThis is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
โThe Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.โ
โLovely stay, gave us an upgrade which was fabulous when they found out it was our honeymoon. Location is great, went to see aysgarth Falls which was awesome. Really looked after us, highly recommend. โ
โAlways a great stop. Lovely countryside to stretch your legs before a lovely dinner. Comfy sleep and tasty breakfast before hitting the road again. Great find. โ
โA lovely old hotel with good food and cosy rooms. Very pet-friendly, although dogs aren't allowed in the breakfast room. I'd certainly love to stay here again.โ
