Country Estate
The area is beautiful and is good if you want to get away from the city. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was delightful.

Superb stay at the Romantik Schloss Rettershof
Excellent woodland location for a getaway with family or as a romantic trip in the Taurus region a short drive from Königstein im Taunus. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was excellent and big enough to accommodate our small son too. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant is superb - children also welcome. Lots to do in and around the area with the castle ruins and the Opel Zoo as well as easy access to the motorway for trips further away. There is a stables almost next to the hotel.

Not for summer
This hotel is simply not the place to stay in summer. The rooms get extremely warm (especially when housekeeping makes a point to open the curtains that were shielding the room from intense daytime sun), and there is no way to cool down the rooms (e.g. A/C or fan) apart from opening the window. The front desk was extremely unhelpful with absolutely no suggestions - when asked if they had recommendations for local wineries they pointed us toward a website that listed all vineyards in the region. Plus, for several hours one evening there was simply a sign at reception saying they weren't around. Mostly, this seemed like a hotel entirely lacking in management. Perhaps in fall or winter, if the owners are around, it could be lovely...but that wasn't our experience. Finally, for those who might care, the rooms in the "modern" wing didn't have shower doors or curtains, they are open stalls.

We trained housekeeping again and I agree, that it makes more sense to leave to curtains closed in sommer but on the other side if we leave them closed, we get the feedback that the room is dark when you open the door. So what is right and what is wrong. Front office could have been more helpful to give you recommondations and for this we are very sorry and trained them as well. Gorgeous castle setting
Beautiful hotel we stayed for our one night in Frankfurt. Not very close to the city of Frankfurt but we couldn't resist the pictures. Romantic indeed. Wifi was spotty in the room but wasn't the reason we stayed there. Great place to relax and take a moment to enjoy the little things. Would have liked to stay longer than the one night. Bathroom was updated but room kept the authentic castle elegance with vintage wallpapers and curtains. Charming. Staff was accomodating even with our late arrival. Didn't book the included breakfast but ended up adding it anyway since we were quite far out from a breakfast the next morning. Would include it next time if we get the opportunity to go back.

What a view!
We were looking for an classic german place close to Frankfurt, and this hotel is part of a beautiful natural park, with stables, areas for jogging, tennis court and a quiet private environment. The room was elegant, really comfortable and good space. We have a nice time at this hotel.

Das Hotel ist super idyllisch gelegen, hat eine spannende Geschichte und ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Ich habe super geschlafen und mit einem Blick in die Natur aufgewacht. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Habe eine Nacht als Geschäftsreisender dort verbracht. Wunderbar bequemes Bett, keine Probleme mit spätem Check-in (22 Uhr), gepflegte und saubere Zimmer. Äusserst freundlicher Service und ausgiebiges Frühstück im noblen Salon. Komme gerne wieder!

Was soll man schon groß sagen? Das Hotel heißt Romantik Hotel und es ist romantisch. Die Ausstattung ist sehr schön, der Service top und die Lage ist hervorragend.

Wirklich toll und sehr gut. Klasse Lage, tolles Ambiente, sehr schönes Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Einziger Abstrich liegt für mich beim Essen bzw bei dessen Service: was abends zu viel an höfischem geboten wird, gibt es morgens zu wenig. Kaffee darf es gerne in Kännchen geben, dann wartet man auch nicht unnötig auf das Tässchen und der Azubi schafft auch das auffüllen der kleinen Teller Wurst und Käse. Sollte da der Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke dahinter stehen, dann wäre Nutella im Spender eine Innovation.

Een stevige prijs maar niet echt fantastisch.
De prijs is behoorlijk en dan verwacht je ook wat. De uitstraling van de locatie en het hotel is schitterend. De kamer is mooi maar niets meer dan dat. Geen WiFi op de kamer, geen bad voor dat geld. Dan ga je naar de receptie en zeg je "Er is geen WiFi op mijn kamer" mijnheer overal in het hotel is WiFi. Dan laat ik een foto zien van het inlogscherm waar duidelijk zichtbaar is het aangegeven netwerk er niet tussen staat. Mijnheer, wij gaan er zo even naar kijken. Vervolgens wordt er niets gedaan. Bij het afrekenen wederom aangegeven dat ik dit toch wel als erg vervelend heb ervaren. Mijnheer in het hele hotel is WiFi. Nogmaals de foto laten zien. Vervelend was de reactie.

很棒的感觉！古堡风格！我们到的时候很晚了提前打电话说明情况前台有留人一直等我们、服务态度很好，有时间的话多住两晚、环境真的很漂亮的。但是交通适合自驾、我们后来自己开车过来的，有山路、这边是一个小镇也很漂亮。如果不开车估计要定接送或者其他吧～总之很满意

Das Hotel im historischen Schloss ist ruhig, aber in schöner Umgebung gelegen. Der Schlaftrakt ist neu. Modern und komfortabel eingerichtetes Zimmer mit schönem Bad. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbüffet im historischen Schlossteil könnten wir sehr genießen. Sehr lecker und vielfältig.

besonderes Hotel mit Licht und Schatten
wunderschön gelegen, tolles Ambiente, und alles sehr empfehlenswert. ABER: wenn man wie wir auf dem Weg in/aus dem Urlaub ist, und man mit mehreren großen Koffern und Reisetaschen unterwegs ist, die man über Nacht nicht im Auto lassen will (aus guten Grund), dann ist ein Weg von der Hotelvorfahrt (und weiter kommt man mit dem Auto nicht) bis ins Zimmer von über 140 Meter (eine Treppe hoch zum Hoteleingang und eine weitere Treppe im Hotel) Schwerstarbeit, die außerdem sehr zeitaufwändig ist, selbst wenn man sportlich in Höchstform ist... Und für jemanden, der bei heutigen Verkehrsverhältnissen über eine lange Strecke reist, sind die begrenzten Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption ein weiteres Problem...

Mein Mann und ich haben uns für unseren Hochzeitstag in diesem Hotel eingemietet, und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll und ganz erfüllt. Ein ausgesprochen romantisches, wunderschön gelegenes und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel, in dem Altes mit Neuem ungewöhnlich gut kombiniert ist. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Matratzen haben genau den richtigen Härtegrad - jedenfalls für mich - der einzige Schwachpunkt sind die Kopfkissen, die wir zu weich fanden. Und der Frühstückskaffee schmeckte mir persönlich überhaupt nicht. Er war mir zu bitter. Aber diese Kleinigkeiten fallen im Gesamteindruck nicht ins Gewicht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten. Vielleicht nächstes Mal im Frühling oder Sommer, denn Ende Dezember ist zwar die Dekoration des Hauses sehr hübsch, aber die Natur ist natürlich ein bisschen kahl.

Niveauvolle und stimmingsvolle Oase
Das Hotel liegt in einer bezaubernden Landschaft, das Schloss/Burg ist ein tolles Gebäude mit denkmalgeschützen Interieur, der Anbau ist intelligent in das Ambiente integriert. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll, sauber und ruhig. Das Essen incl. Frühstück bietet gehobene Qualität.

Hab mich gefreut auf einige Tage zum arbeiten während Terminen. Gute Lage, angenehm grosse Zimmer, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal (meist). Gute kissen Frühstück um 0930 entweder am abbauen oder quasi leer.. hmm. Bis 10 angeschrieben. Aber auch hier super personal hat dann alles gebracht.. trotzdem nicht optimal ABER Das Internet soo langsam.kaum email möglich.... kein essen ausserhalb küchenzeiten. Dusche der wasserdruck nicht regulierbar und das Bad danach unter Wasser

Vom Allerfeinsten
Wunderschönes und ruhiges Hotel,auf einer kleinen Anhöhe oberhalb eines Reiterhofes gelegen. Sehr stilvolles Restaurant mit ganz hervorragender gehobener Küche, dementsprechend ist auch das Frühstück, das auch draussen eingenommen werden kann. Ich komme mit Sicherheit gern wieder.
