5/5 - Excellent
Freeland presents as clean and safe. While Langley and Coupeville are quaint and gentrified, Freeland is a manicured, pretty little town, nothing special. A nice place to stay.

When you arrive, the you will see a small parking lot in the main entrance, however in front there is another building with a bigger parking lot with so many free space. The miss on duty is very sweet and kind, very happy to pick this hotel.

Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.

Property outside of house is unkempt, overgrown and not as advertised. No real access to backyard for use of patio or grilling.

I have family in Freeland and have been going there for at least 50 years.
Cute little town. Sidewalks roll up early so plan ahead for that.
Small town, nice shops, fun location. Bayview Nursery close by is wonderful. Great cafe with Saturday market and other small shops. Langley is fun too!
We were there for a family Memorial. We frequently are in the area, but only this occasion did we stay in lodging there, as we live in Anacortes.
