Unless you are young and don't care, make sure you get a ground floor room - the upstairs rooms require a walk up a large staircase, and are inconvenient.

“We were attracted to the overall ambiance of Whistler's Inn. A charming B&B that was nearby the main area of Lenox, as well as within shouting distance of many places of interest. Our main contact, Lisa, went out of her way to keep us informed about our upcoming stay, and then did so much to make us feel welcome. Our only "4" rating was due to the number of stairs we had to negotiate. Overall, don't hesitate to consider Whistler's Inn for your next Berkshires visit.”
“We we were in the Out of Africa room, set apart in a complex of 4 suites in a unit apart from the Inn itself. The room was uniquely created to feel like an escape to Africa, and heated by a lovely gas fireplace. The breakfast both mornings, delicious. A perfect getaway!”

We ended up leaving something behind by mistake and they immediately called us and let us know that we had left something in the room that was important to us. “While the brick exterior has an older motel kind of look, don't be fooled, the interior has been totally refurbished and is very clean and modern. The hotel is also set back from the road a bit, and our room in the back was very quiet and peaceful with a view to the hills. The facility also has a small bar where you can have a nightcap, which is very convenient if you don't want to drink and drive. I would highly recommend this hotel.”
