Very nice Inn with a good walkable location in Lenox. Room was large & clean, bed very comfy. Breakfast was lovely in a beautiful room with a fireplace.
It's a perfect stop on our little Berkshires trip. The Inn had everything we needed and more. The property was beautiful, and the staff was beyond helpful. We will certainly be back.
Unique and very thoughtfully thought through. Welcome bottle of wine, welcome drink, and breakfast were great! Wish the bar was open later and breakfast started earlier, but this is a minor thing. Would definitely stay there again.
Delightful and charming! When you go to an inn that is over 200 years old you don’t know what to expect and everything was a wonderful surprise. Super clean, stylish, and staff that was warm and friendly. We had what we believe was the smallest room in the Inn, not much over 100 ft.², and it was perfect for a one night stay. The breakfast options were a real treat!
The staff were terrific from welcome to departure. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. The Inn location was great for Tanglewood and local restaurants. We intend to return should we be in that area again!
We had a fantastic one-night stay at The Cornell Inn! From the moment we checked in—where we were greeted with delicious brownies in the lobby—the staff were super nice and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
We stayed in K11 - The Edith Wharton Room, which featured a comfortable queen bed and was fully equipped with all the essentials, plus a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the decoration throughout is absolutely beautiful and cozy.
The staff did a wonderful job with breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious—do not skip it! We also loved the outside area. It was so relaxing to sit in a rocker chair, surrounded by beautiful vegetation, watching the fish. We highly recommend this inn and can't wait to return!
Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed, but the door to the room did not fit properly so lots of light came through the edges. Also we could hear the guests above us ( we were on first floor in carriage house) tramping around at 6:00 am. It would help to carpet the floors. The breakfast, which was much hyped, was only okay. The ingredients were nothing special, for example the bread used for toast appeared to be off the grocery store shelf.
On the positive side: the bed was comfortable; the staff was very nice.
Negative: the room was expensive (over $500 for one night), but it was uncomfortably small (there was barely enough space to walk between the desk and the edge of the bed); the bathroom was tiny without any place to lay out toiletries; the fold-out suitcase stand had a broken leg; there was minimal electrical lighting; there was only one small window so the room was claustrophobic; and we found a wet towel from the previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

The breakfast is the best part . They have a lot of rules on this property. Maybe they should consider that the people who stay here are adults . Also you can hear everything other people are doing in their rooms . When someone comes or goes you can hear them . It can be very annoying when you’re trying to sleep . Also my sink in the bathroom didn’t drain . So that was not good .
We felt warmly welcomed by the staff. Our room was lovely with the exception of being located at the front of the house. We could hear the traffic. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. The woman serving us was very nice and efficient. We enjoyed our stay.
