"Location is a bit out of the way so best if you have a car (lots of parking). If you are reliant on public transportation there are several bus routes available with a bus stop at the bottom of the hill via the wooden stairway at the back of the hotel and a couple more a few minutes away by foot. If you are heading to Halifax you will generally need to either get to Bridge Terminal bus station or go to Aldenary Ferry Terminal; either will take an hour +/- to get into downtown Halifax. Uber will take about 20 min so plan your day depending on your transport. Clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and good a/c, heating. Note that at this time the hotel is undergoing some renovation so you'll see some work in progress on the first floor but the rest of the building is in good condition. Restaurant offers a great breakfast with many options. The dinner menu is decent too and reasonably priced. Gym is relatively small but has enough machines (treadmills, cycles, weight machine), benches, dumbells, resistance tubing, water, towels, disinfecting wipes readily available, and a washroom/shower. Didn't use the pool but very family friendly with a tubeslide that was well used by the families that I saw there. Didn't use the business centre or conference facilities. There are some restaurants within walking distance beyond fast food hidden within the industrial malls nearby as well as a SevenBays indoor climbing gym. All in all, very reasonably priced and comfortable hotel."

"This facility is lovely, if a little pricey. It is ideal for a relaxing getaway or special occasion. The view of the lake is great and provides an ideal backdrop. The dome is spacious and has everything you need. A little more countertop and food prep area would have improved the experience. There is a nice bbq on the deck but unfortunately no table so you have to eat inside, which I found sad as it would have been nice to watch the boats on the lake whilst eating dinner. There is a good walking trail right next door to work up an appetite. Overall a pleasant experience for our first time staying in a dome."
