โI walked here from the Ikoma station, it was a great ~half hour hike with what felt like around 350-ish meters of elevation gain.
The ryokan has a nice vibe to it. The hot tub was nice tooโ
โThe place is great! Pretty close to a station with mutiple lines, the surrounding area isnt namba station but it has the necessities within reach (convenience store, supermarket, couple of dinner spots). (Presumably all rooms but i havent seen the others) my room has adjustable ac and lighting, pretty roomy too. The only real issue I really had was that the wifi stopped working a few days in, but that'll probably be fixed eventually. Oh, and the thinnes s of the mattress takes a little getting...
โMy wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the hostโs mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. Plus, our host was very helpful and attentive, she assisted us to get our luggage forwarded to our next hotel.
