"After reading the description of this hotel I had high expectations. I hoped they would be helpful to tourists. I had read there was a concierge, armed with that information I had expectations for help finding several spots around Seoul, places from kdramas that i was hoping to visit. Out of all the staff at the front desk only 1 young man went out of his way to help me. He was there the morning of the 13th.
I read there were 3 restaurants in the hotel, there was only 1.
Gym was not available.
The housekeeping staff were friendly and very good at accommodating my " do not disturb " requests. Leaving water and fresh towels daily. Even greeting me at the elevator with an daily bottle of water one day. Smiling and very friendly.
As for location I think it was pretty good. I ate more fast food in 10 days than I have in 10 years, but the BK menu selection was pretty interesting .
I felt safe in the hotel.
I did 1 load of laundry, (my stay was 10 days). The washer smelled but I suspect that people didn't know to leave the door open after use. I felt that this was ok and enjoyed the help from a staff member who stopped to show me which payment buttons to press, despite the language barrier.
There are many convenience stores close by where I bought milk for my coffee and other comforts.
Breakfast is not free, this was not a problem as there are many Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Tealeaf places close by."
