“The place was beautiful design. Thats what I want in hotels. The staff were lovely. Amaan, Viraj and Nethmi were wonderful. This place is an oasis off the busy city street down to the Fort. If you want to stay away from the touristy Fort area on the coast, with a private beach, this place is for you. The only feedback I have for them is be clear about restaurant times. It said on menu in room 6p. I went down 6.15 and was told my meal would take 1 to 1.5 hours. This won't work for families with...

“We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) ”

“Fantastic 150 year old house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. Furnishings are beautiful. Great pool. Great breakfast. Great caretaker, Mohan, also a very good chef preparing dinners for us. The owner stopped by and was extremely helpful. ”

“Such an incredibly beautiful property, the rooms had such beautiful Dutch old world charm. If you have the budget spurge and get the Admiral Suite. It’s huge!!!!!! I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a delightful stay. If you’re thinking booking just go ahead and book it. ”
