โGreat place to stay very close to the lighthouse. Love the small, intimate, boutique-style feel to it. Make sure to have the egg hoppers for breakfast! Delicious!โ
โCourteous staff, a quiet, comfortable room and super catering in a superbly fitted out property made this a fantastic stay!
Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isnโt one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!โ
โThe Bartizan's rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was generous, and we were given a packed breakfast on the day we left early. The staff were very attentive. It is located on the coast and walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. It was our favourite hotel in the two weeks we spent in Sri Lanka. โ
โThe rooms are lovely in this little boutique hotel, it is located at the top of Gaul fort and easy to park and find. The staff are very good and helpful. They make good coffee. We didnโt eat here other than a dessert but the quality was good. The restaurant is small though and there are no other facilities but for a comfortable room you canโt go wrong โ
โBeautiful place and very friendly and professional people. Nice welcome with cold towel and Mango-juice. The room was clean and with aircondition. I can recommend this place!โ
โNormally Iโm not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees.
Also staff were really really helpful, kind and caring. I had injury on my foot. They were really careful about this. Thank you Roshan and Banuka!โ
โStaff were so lovely and helpful!! Went out of their way to assist and help with transport also. We loved the breakfast - plenty of food. Property was kept very clean and tidy throughout. Would definitely stay again โ
โThis place is lovely. The staff are fabulous, the rooms gorgeous and the area it is in is the perfect place to explore Galle Fort. It is also absolute value for money โ
โA wonderful 3 night stay in the family suite with two double beds. Service from all the hotel staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond from giving us a takeaway breakfast on our last day when we left early, as well as helping with our hired tuktuk! Hotel is further out of Galle Fort (about a 10min tuktuk drive/25 min walk), but setting of buildings onsite is lovely, centred around the main pool and communal outside area. There is a mosque nearby so you can...
โBreakfast good, rooms clean and quiet, good access to the fort- place reminds me of a guesthouse in Asia ! Which for us is great
Not trying to upsell and staff advice solid
I would come back- value for money โ
โThe hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. Itโs also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about ยฃ1.50 - ยฃ2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) We had the Sri Lanka breakfast - again prepared...
โLovely homestay with such attention to detail in property. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Quiet area except for some railway noise but not a problem for us. Half hour walk to fort( plenty of tuk-tuks if you want) Helpful & friendly host.โ
โThe property is very nicely renovated - but the staff really make the experience, Supun and his crew are some of the best hosts I have come across. Strongly recommend. โ
