Room was clean, has air-conditioning, which was extremely nice and the restaurant downstairs was good as well. The breakfast in the morning was nice also, included a lot of different options. The hotel was a tiny bit outside of everything in town so we took cabs & Uber but this was a good trade-off for us as we preferred the nicer stay compared to what was offered right in town

Salthill Hotel is in a great location, lovely beach views and easy access to stroll on the promenade. The breakfast was good. I don't know what they were passing off as a chicken caesar salad but it was horrible. Whatever it was, it wasn't caesar but doused in it. Pizza was good enough. Music in the bar on saturday night was entertaining. Not trad but a good mix of classics and country. The rooms felt a little dated. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure good.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this hotel. The hotel is quite well located, a close drive to the heart of Galway, and right on the boardwalk. The rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed. We enjoyed a very nice dinner in The Prom restaurant and a wonderful buffet breakfast the next morning in the hotel's breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in this lovely part of the world.
