"At first we weren’t sure about the hotel from the outside. But the inside has been nicely updated. The little kitchenette in the room was perfect, we got to make dinner and breakfast in the room. The complimentary coffee machine in the lobby definitely was the best part (French vanilla and mochas!) The staff were especially amazing! Showed us to our room right beside the cute garden/ pool area and explained where everything was. If we ever go back through Gibson we will for sure stay here again!"

"Guest room was clean with useful amenities. This property is better described as a Motor Inn as it has exterior entrances. Cannot turn left into property from Capilano Road. Must turn left prior to get to Marine Drive and then right back onto Capilano Road to enter property."

"This hotel is dated however it still maintains a standard that’s acceptable. There were some limited issues around our toilet but all in all, price, location, and amenities in close proximity make this a good location to stay and rent. I will be staying here going forward but am looking forward to the renovations some rooms already have, being completed in all rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The location in English Bay cannot be beat, and the price point is fair given those factors regardless of some rooms being dated."
