"The place was infested with bugs crawling on the walls and floors. The bedsheets had dead bugs on them when the top covers were removed. Bedsheets also had stains on them. There were no fans or a/c. We bought fans and left them there. The kitchen had some kind of fungus growing in it. All the ceilings had webs with spiders in it. Floors were not washed. All outdoor furniture were covered in mold. Would not recommend this place. "

"This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!"

"This was such a nice retreat. Beautiful views. Quiet comfortable getaway. It felt homey and inviting. I grew up going to a cottage like this and it was a blissful nostalgic weekend getaway right on the water. "
