The place is wonderful in every way! It is super clean, the proprietor is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the breakfast includes many types of foods, and the location is less than a 10 min walk to delicious restaurants. Best of all, the locale is really safe. I will go again on my next trip!

Lovely BnB outside of town. We enjoyed the views, large room and breakfasts. Parking was difficult and had to walk about 10 mins into town for restaurants

Great Vacation In Garmisch

I liked the quiet neighborhood and close proximity to bus. Was very easy to get to Venice within 20 minutes. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional.

The hosts were so kind and helpful! Breakfasts were amazing! Rooms are cleaned every day and the property is beautifully maintained. View from the room balcony was fabulous. Hosts go above and beyond expectations for hospitality. Their English speaking wS better than my German! I highly recommend thei Gaste Haus and will definitely stay there on my next trip! Location is perfect!

Diese Unterkunft ist hervorragend!

Das Gästehaus-Ehepaar war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer sehr gemütlich und sauber, und auch beim Frühstück mangelte es an nichts. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden das Gästehaus Maria sicherlich wieder einmal buchen.

Lovely

Gästehaus Maria was great. The owners are super helpful and very nice. They’re also knowledgeable about different things that Garmisch has. From hiking to animal farms for kids to the mountains.

Spacious room with comfortable beds and dining area (family room). Innkeeper’s were very helpful with local information and recommendations for dining, also for hiking and biking in the area. We enjoyed excellent breakfast in a sunny dining room with Mountain View’s, and a nap in a lovely backyard after activities.

Gasthaus Maria is perfect!

Gastehaus Maria is great. Herr und Frau Thier are nice people and very helpful with whatever you want to do while visiting. Absolutely lovely hotel just minutes walking to downtown Garmisch.

Great Guesthouse

We are just back from an 8 night stay at Gasthaus Maria. Mr. & Mrs. Thier were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was large, spotlessly clean with an ensuite shower room and a large balcony with table and chairs. The views of the mountains were outstanding. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice ie. fresh fruit salad, fruit, bread, rolls, cold meats, cheeses etc, scrambled eggs, sausages and boiled eggs. Plenty of choice. We usually stay at a 4 star hotel when we visit Garmisch but in future we will stay at the Gasthaus Maria.

Ubytování kousek od nádraží - ideální pro příjezd vlakem. Má to ale háček: nejdřív je třeba se zastavit na recepci na ulici Wachsbleiche. Při ukončení ubytování se tam ale naštěstí už znova nemusí.
