"Pros: * The location is perfect, right on the coast, with uninterrupted views looking out to sea. * Many rooms have beautiful balcony views to watch the sunset. * The pool was a good size with a deep end. * Staff were helpful and spoke good english. * Easy access to a coastal path to a nearby beach. * Nice modern rooms with good aircon. Cons: * The breakfast was busy, there were a lot of options for food, but only two toasters and all the coffee machines were full so these things had long queues. * The car park didn't have a lot of spaces and they were all full so navigating it was very tight. * The bar closes at 12."

"Very nice hotel and restaurant all in one place. Rooms and property very clean. Bit of a miscommunication on checkout times we needed leave very early to airport kind of got stuck inside but sorted it quick."

"It’s a nice location, easily walkable from the train station. Super convenient to the Eiffel Bridge and the old town. The staff were friendly, professional, and personable. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Hotel 1901 gets high marks in every category. I would stay there again. I forgot, the bed was super comfortable, or maybe my body just didn’t know any better after traveling for nearly 24 hours to get here."

"Excellent location. 15 minutes stroll over then bridge to the cathedral and old town. Warm and informative welcome at reception. Lovely shower with quality toiletries. Excellent to have a room within a room - separate space for the children to sleep. Very comfortable and lots of space. Would return and recommend."

"We travel extensively and rarely have we been to such a beautiful hotel set in the most fantastic location. Our room was clean and comfortable, our meals in the restaurant superbly presented by cheerful and helpful staff, and the young male receptionist so very friendly. We would normally have given the property full stars EXCEPT we were very unhappy with the fact that a dog was allowed to roam around the serving and seating areas whilst guests were having breakfast. Too unhygienic for us! It appeared to belong to a member of staff who was not at all concerned that the dog was wandering around, sometimes taking food from diners. This was so wrong!"
