โWe stayed at Mar Charbel for 7 nights while exploring Cairo. What an amazing gem, centrally located near so many museums, mosques, restaurants, & other historical sites. The rooftop pool & restaurant (chicken cordon bleu & cheesecake) were amazing. Front desk personnel (Michael, Oalfat, George) spoke very helpful English, took care of us & had a genuine smile everyday. When I showed the receipt from hotels.com, the staff said "I believe you." which makes me feel lying while proving my payment. I have travelled for decades, but this was my first experience. Other than that, mostly the stay was good. The window cannot block the road noises and I successfully blocked the sound by using my earplugs. The staffs kindly arranged a breakfast meal box because I needed to check out at 4:20AM. That was simple but nutricious box, and I appreciate it. The hotel is on the first floor and it is hard to find from the outside. These will be useful advice to anyone who stays here."
