The reception staff was great she was easy to talk to in English and definitely knowledgeable on the area and had some good suggestions. The lighting in the hallways going to the room was interesting gave off a scary movie vibe. The laundry though pricey was very nice. However they did miss making one of the beds when they cleaned the room.

Great location in the Kiyomizu-dera/Gion area. Clean, quiet, modern, and spacious rooms. Absolutely will return on my next trip to Kyoto!
