โThere were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. โQuite a unique experience with traditional Japanese furniture and room layout. The owner clearly put a lot of thoughts in building out this hotel by integrating modern appliances into traditional Japanese house architecture. Beautifully decorated garden. Staff were super helpful.โ
โNo spa, no fitness club, no other facilities but very private and quiet. Room was clean and spacious. View of the Nijo castle is not what you would have expected but good for a walk around the castle. Very near from subway and 10 mins walk to JR Nijo. Staffs are kind and well-trained.โ
