"There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. "We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by.     "The hotel is superb la!!! 1. Parking very convenient next door 2. Location 100/100 to be next to Kyoto Tower, rented our Kimono there and walkable to beautiful temple and places! 3. The onsen is good too, I particularly like the one with ice neck rest, 10-20mins only. 4. BREAKFAST is the highest standard for Japanese breakfast! Has Sashimi and all options! 5. Evening supper 9-11pm Ramen is good too, hearty Not so good part: abit tooooo crowded and packed and touristy, and the shoe area can stink quite abit tbh.. "
