"There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. "Our stay was great. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It is remotely located, which was peaceful, but still very convenient to get to the subway, less than a five minute walk. The staff was helpful and courteous. The meal options were somewhat limited - best to eat while out."
