The owner was very kind and he provided precise recommendations for transit. He also provided us with a map of Kyoto as well as a general guidebook for tourists. "Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home."

"You have train station close by, so it makes it very easy to get around. You also have bus stops not far from each other, and the wait time usually isn’t very long. The staff are very polite, and answer any questions you have. The room itself was slightly small, but big enough if you’re a solo traveller. I very much enjoyed my stay. "
