The staff was extremely friendly and helpful upon check-in. The room was very clean and pleasant. We did the breakfast one day and it was very good with a large selection of heathy items along with traditional Japanese dishes. This hotel is extremely convenient to the subway.

Room was very clean. The breakfast was lovely by offering a little something that was appealing for people from around the globe. Staff were helpful. The only negative is the laundry did not dry clothes completely after many cycles. Overall great place to stay. Great location.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is a perfect location for visiting most of the sites in Kyoto. The one suggestion would be to have some variety in the breakfast menu. We stayed for 6 days so it got kinda tiresome to have the same food.

It was a pleasant stay; the hotel is very well located with easy access to the train. A safe area with plenty of restaurants nearby! The hotel is nice and very clean; the room was a bit small, but I think that's typical for Japan!

Overall a very nice stay. Staff were helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Only minor niggle was the plug in the sink, which was quite difficult to close. Location was good, being right next to Exit 6 of Marutamachi station and within walking distance of several attractions such as Kyoto Gyoen, the Manga Museum, and Nijō Castle.

This hotel is ultra-modern and beautifully designed. They staff is extremely courteous and were very helpful with my Wi-Fi issue that my laptop was having not allowing me to log-in. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone I know.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout the stay. Note that there is no on-site parking available on the property, so you will need to use one of the nearby Japanese coin parking lots. Luckily, several coin lots are just a short walk away, making it fairly straightforward if you are driving. Overall, a solid and pleasant stay!
