Ideal location and pleasant stay

Ideally located and a very short walk to the port area. Complimentary breakfast which was a bonus. Rooms are not huge but this is not an issue if you're out most of the time anyway. Very friendly staff. It is worth asking reception to book a taxi if you're going to the airport (approx. €25).

We had a nice stay. Staff was helpful, it's 5' walk from the aquarium and the Galata museum, very close to lots of local restaurants. Breakfaat was complete and super cheap (4€).

Peace, Quiet, and Solitude

It was a nice getaway from my workplace. The solitude was nice, the room was cozy, and the bed was spacious. Definitely recommend to others if they decide to do a quiet getaway.

Parking was tough but property is not far up a side street connected to the port main road, so we could park at the aquarium public parking and it was very short walk. Very glad we stayed at this hotel vs others in Genoa downtown once we had walked the city some. This property is in one of the better / cleaner / safer feeling zones. The police station is literally next door so you get to see them pass by on patrol regularly. The pizza place directly across the street had excellent pizza as well.

The hotel is very conveniently situated. Exit the street it's in, and you're on the quay with the Old Port and the Old City Centre just minutes away. It's a very nice and simple hotel. No restaurants or other amenities, just very good rooms and most of all: very good beds and pillows! And it's all very neat and clean. I highly recommend the Best Western Porto Antico!

The staff was friendly enough, but the location was on a busy corner and directions for parking were difficult to read and to understand. It did have a nice breakfast service though and the serving staff were excellent.

The room was nice and clean, the beds were a bit yoo hard. The location was close to the important sites of Genova. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately there were many sketchy people aproaching you and making you feel unsafe. There were groups of Africans looking at people and communicating with each other in there language and gave the weirdest feelings when some follow you.
