Genovés Park is the perfect place to escape the bustle of downtown Cádiz and spend some time exploring quiet gardens and palm groves. Enter the park and begin your stroll around its tree-lined pathways. A broad boulevard runs along the park’s southeastern edge and is flanked by tall palm trees and cypresses. Wander down the leafy arcade and admire the topiary hedges, which have been creatively transformed into corkscrew spirals. This main path is dotted with old-fashioned lampposts, fountains and pretty white park benches, which provide a pleasant spot to relax. People-watch or bring a book to read.
