โLovely location,food was excellent,very helpful and friendly staff,they made you feel welcome,catered for dogs very well, recommended to anyone to have a break at this place ,well worth the money โ
โWe have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run.
The staff were so helpful polite and attentive.
The room was excellent spacious .really comfy beds full bathroom and had everything we needed as well as very quiet.
So now comes the restaurant........ wow just wow the food was top notch all freshly cooked and some of the best Italian we have ever had.
Portion sizes are not for the faint hearted ie great for a pre run carb load tea for my partner but so...
โWe had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely.
The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. We could have easily spent longer there and look forward to returning โ
โThis is a great hotel. Whenever we visit Newcastle upon Tyne we always stay here. The hotel is excellent value, very clean, quiet and the staff are very friendly and engaging. The restaurant and bar are excellent. There is plenty of free parking too. โ
โWe spent the night here as we had an early flight in the morning. It was great - quiet, very comfortable mattress, just next to the airport and with a pub that serves food then minutes walk up the road.โ
โBeautiful hotel, not sure how itโs classed as a 3* on Expedia when itโs by far the nicest hotel in Newcastle. The rooms are a great size, clean and cosy and you can tell the hotel has thought of the โlittle thingsโ that set it apart from a generic Hilton esque experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will be back soon :) โ
