“Just a 1 night stay before catching our flight home and glad we stayed at the Salamander. Stephan and 2 year old chocolate brown Braque named Uma welcomed us into the family home. It was very relaxing having a nice drink in the garden and the room was tastefully decorated, equipped to a modern high standard and in keeping with the property. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with clean crisp linen. Good internet access and very clean. ”

“A lovely surprise uoon arrival down a winding lane. Beautiful property, very new and clean. A huge pool and a sauna. Amazing impromptu mixed grill for dinner and great breakfast. ”

“Pascale could not have been more helpful. I asked for breakfast and evening meal as I was on my own and didn't fancy the drive into Songeons in the evening. The house is beautiful ( old farmhouse in style and wooden interior and Indian lights makes for a wonderful ambience). The extensive grounds are a wonderful place to relax and there are chairs and loungers all over so that you can avoid the sun or not!”

“Excellent établissement, très surpris en poussant la porte, un cadre magnifique des propriétaires très accueillants souriant et à l’écoute. Le calme là sérénités et au rendez-vous. Le spa est très bien entretenu et le dîner en option est divin et fait maison. Avec un terrain de 2 hectares de découverte franchement j’ai aucun point négatif à dire. “Nous sommes arrivés vers 20h, aucun restaurant n’était ouvert. Le maître d’hôtel nous a gentiment préparer un repas, charcuteries, fromages, un super vin et même un moelleux chocolat exceptionnel !! Bref un accueil au top avec un vrai service dans un cadre magnifique avec une personne d’une gentillesse merveilleuse.”
