“Good stop over hotel with ample parking. Staff very helpful and friendly. The manager is also looking to improve the hotel. We chose a small room which was very small especially having a dog. However, it served a purpose. Excellent shower. Restaurant adjacent for which you get a 15% discount. Food was fine but we didn't find the staff that friendly.”

“Good location, near restaurants and shops, including a bakery 2 mins away... and an Indian restaurant 1 min away! Free public parking out front was good, and cheap more secure parking behind. Small rooms, and appropriate small prices to reflect the simplicity. Helpful staff.”

“Convenient stopover stay travelling down to Southern Europe. Friendly staff and v reasonable price. Restaurants nearby and Laon old town is worth looking around although up 200+ steps.”

“Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Dodgy, loud clientele, dirty & poorly maintained rooms that stank of cigarettes & a very run down exterior. I was surprised my motorcycle was still there in the morning! Positive points are the room had a heater, so I could dry my wet gear, the shower was warmish & sort of worked, the bed was comfy & sheets were clean. Also the lady who checked me in was nice & helpful & there’s a great bar 2 mins away (La Kaverne) Bar is recommended, hotel is not!”
