"Property was very clean and beautiful rooms. They also offer unlimited 24 hour free tea & coffee plus toast and jam. Very convenient location in the center of Male. "The deluxe two bedroom apartment was very clean and well-equipped. Very well-located for the airport, and steps away from the beach and shops / restaurants. Staff were very helpful (proactively contacted our onward resort before we even arrived, and arranged return transfer to airport accordingly). Overall perfect for our one-night stay ahead of moving onto an island resort the next day. "

This place was awesome! I arrived early in the morning, they let me check in no problem. The room was clean, comfortable, and great AC. Everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating. Cool room structure almost apartment style. Your own private room, bathroom, desk, etc. but also an outer area you share with one other room that has a kitchenette, and larger sitting room. I liked the location. Felt very safe, and fun to walk around. Very clean, comfortable, and had great staff.

Great Resort, unbeatable location and wonderful staff. We had the best time of our life over the 8 days spent in the hotel just last week. Could not ask for more. Staff is so friendly, amenities are amazing and management makes you wish all hotels were this well managed. Although quite a distance from the Pacific Northwest, we may consider visiting the Maldives again and staying at Baros.

First, this hotel is the best kept secret. Somerset ranks number one in my book. It is the only hotel I would stay in when in Male. The hotel's rating is four stars but overall it's a five star. Not in the best of locations (small street) but it's located next to everything you need. I was treated like valuable customer by all the staff including the great restaurant next door. The food was excellent, people friendly and they truly find pleasure in giving their guest amazing service.

The service is great, but the food in terms of taste is not in line with what you pay. I do think both Baan Thai and Sea salt could be a bit better. ...

Nice stay prior to our morning flight. Airport transfer was via taxi and was included in the rate. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous, better than the fancy resort we had just come from. Thomas, the owner of the hotel, was personable and friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Would definitely stay again.
