“Property is in desperate need of updates and repairs. While some rooms looked recently renovated we were in room one and it has not been. The carpet had visible stains, the bed was as hard as a rock and while they gave us a second duvet to sleep on top of it didn’t do much to soften the bed. There was only one outlet that was easily accessible. Another behind the bed ( that was unable to be reached and based on the amount of dust had not been cleaned behind in some time. “The place is just a nicley kept pub, with a very good food and drinks menu + some kraft beers, our room was a little small but was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, yep we would stay there again, but in a larger room.”

“Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes”

“A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast.
Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for.
A perfect stop over in a peaceful location”
