"This place is hidden gem. Loved it so much we stayed another night. Close enough to the electric railway to give you easy access to the island.. There is NOT a lot going on in Laxey, but that exactly what we were looking for. if you just want to relax and get away. The shore hotel is a great spot"

"Loved the comfy bed and ease back down to the Prom! We walked to Queen for dinner and parked the rental without problems!! We did fine with many flights of stairs. Great location!!!!"

"Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was odd to get to going up the stairs then down the stairs. No A/C so windows open… except open to a bar right outside which was loud until 3am. Yikes. Wonderful location next to the promenade and shops. Good food options around too. TV was small. Bar area had broken drafts for the beer. Breakfast was so/so but they would make you eggs however you’d like fresh, so that was nice."

"No iron in our room inconvenient- pillows are thin and to get extra you have to ask at reception. Phone in room didn't work which was also an inconvenience. Staff around very pleasant and helpful. Clean and maintained but not 4 star level.. maybe 3"
