โWe stayed three nights at the Hotel Square in Tomintoul. Although this is an older facility which could use a few updates to rugs, curtains, etc., we were very happy there. The hotel is clean, beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large and supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. We had a lovely stay!โ
โFriendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. We stayed one night and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was meant to be a stop on our way out of a two day drive through...
โBooked the Craigellachie hotel as a last minute trip for my partners birthday. The hotel is beautiful and the location very good. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the service from Oscar in the Quaich bar made our whole trip. The bathroom in our room was a little tired, but we didnโt spend a whole lot of time in the room so didnโt mind. Would definitely return. โ
