“Our room was both spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was right outside the door. The buffet breakfast offering was delicious and plentiful. All in all a very pleasant stay!”
“Very clean room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. We ate at the restaurant and received a discount as in house guests on food and drinks, making it a very reasonably priced stop over. Staff were friendly which topped off a great experience.”

“Pros: Beautiful historic mansion, including shared lounges downstairs and on landing. Whisper quiet. Excellent bathroom (but cold floor in winter). Yale lock on door. Lovely park grounds and views. Good food and local wines in restaurant. Couple of minutes drive to town centre. Cons: Was overpriced unless you’re a golfer or lover of history. Checking in was confusing and involved a bit of to and fro in the complex, especially when desk is unattended. ”
