What a unique and interesting property. A distillery, restaurant, rooms are all close together in a beautiful setting. So relaxing and comfortable. All the staff are amazing, excellent, friendly and outgoing. Food is amazing and delicious. It is beautiful.
This place was a gem! We loved our stay here for the night, too bad we didn't stay longer. The staff were super friendly, and the charm of this place was over the top.
We stayed in one of the chalet's, a one bedroom unit and it was so cozy and inviting. The restaurant food and staff were excellent, and the live traditional music was so fun to listen to. They even provided a service to pick us up from the chalet and take us back when we wanted to go back to our room.
We highly recommend this as a stopover if you are up in Cape Breton!
Room was fantastic!
Large clean and quiet! Beds were amazing!
We arrived early to the hotel as it was raining and not alot to do in the rain.
The receptionist greeted me with a warm welcome! Explained i knew we were early to check 1:30 hrs, but our room was ready to go! We were very happy and thankful!
We made a reservation at the restaurant upon check-in and had a wonderful meal. Enjoyd live music and terrific service from our waitress!
We will be back!
Awesome accommodations and food!
We loved the location only ten minutes to Inverness beach. The grounds of property were very quaint with beautiful planters stream and forest. We stayed two nights but had to change rooms as we stayed on second floor room 5 in first building which we found very loud at night with exterior doors banging and some other nuisance noise in early morning hours. We changed rooms to second building and were much happier with little deck outside.
The property is amazing and the staff are exceptional. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. They offer a shuttle service from the main building to your cabin, very convenient. The Pub atmosphere and food were excellent. If you stay here you must do the tour, and sample their products. Overall a great place to stay, play and relax
Restaurant attached to hotel was fantastic. Food was excellent, music really made the night(great job Neil) and our waitress was wonderful!
Bed was really comfortable.
We had a great stay in one of the Chalets at this Inn. The property is beautiful. Our rooms were a bit dated but clean and cozy. The dinner at the pub was excellent, especially the fish cakes and the sticky toffee pudding. They offer a shuttle from the chalets to the restaurant, which is good the road was quite bumpy, and we wanted to have a few drinks at dinner. It’s in a good location, just off the Cabot trail and close to Inverness beach. Highly recommend staying here if you are in this area.
The room 205, and bathroom water smelled like a fish tank. A dehumidifier would have helped greatly with the dampness of the room. The restaurant food was fair, the bargirls were great! Everyone was helpful and pleasant.
The stay was great! It was an overnight stay for us. We had a nice dinner at the resort and enjoyed some live celtic music.
The food, service and staff were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only complaint would be that the outside grounds were not kept up, but this could be because we were early in the system and they may not have had an opportunity to get at the spring cleanup.
