We chose a room with a patio, which was gorgeous and very spacious. Meticulously clean. The general decor is fairly dated, but that’s what should be expected from a hotel in Matejko Square- history. They allowed as an early check-in free of charge, which was very appreciated.

Nice hotel in Gliwice center, warm atmosphere at the arrival, staff helpful and kind, spacious rooms. Great service of sauna (included but you have tò tell them, so they Will have time tò switched ON) and massages. Breakfast poor (for the price asked, 15 euro)

Dirty room / not fresh food

Single room 106 . Curtains were dirty with spots , dust , I had a feeling that it was never cleaned . Pillow smells like dirty legs ( was sleeping without because of that ) . Bad sheets fully of micro bad bugs after one hour all my body was itching . Disinfections required . At 2.00 I was thinking to leave those place … Breakfast : Was cooked two days before , than freezes and heated in the morning , the same for the fruits … Imagine of totally bad management of Royal Hotel . Never again !

En centre-ville mais...

Hôtel situé dans le centre ville très proche du Rynek. Les chambres sont très spacieuses mais peuvent paraître un peu kitch. La salle de bain est équipé d'une baignoire jacuzzi mais devrait offrir plus de possibilité pour faire sécher les serviettes. Le personnel semble des fois un peu dépassé. Attente à l'arrivée car 3 personnes en même temps et il semble apparemment nécessaire d'avoir 2 réceptionniste pour réaliser un check-in. Changement de chambre car plus de dispo pour une chambre twin. La bonne nouvelle est un surclassement dans un appartement où on nous indique que l'on va amener les draps pour le lit supplémentaire. Les draps sont bien apportés mais après 10 minutes, on comptend que l'on doit déplier le lit et le faire nous même (avec la mauvaise surprise d'une housse de couette pour le matelas). Attention quand il fait très chaud hors saison estivale... l'hôtel étant en mode "chauffage", aucune possibilité d'activer la climatisation... reste la fenêtre à ouvrir, ce qui peut être bruyant côté rue quand une voiture circule sur les pavés. Attention également pour les places de stationnement qui ne peuvent pas se trouver facilement dans les environs sauf après le coucher du soleil...

La habitación muy amplia y comoda. Lamentable la atencion del front desk. Mas alla de no contar con personal bilingue (creo que todos los empleados deberian hablar ingles como requisito basico). La unica mujer amable, con algo de ingles, y realmente bien predispuesta para ayudar a solucionar situaciones es Agatha. Fue la que salvo mi estadia. Por todo lo demas, me senti muy incomoda con la atencion y el trato de las recepcionistas. Sandra( la recepcionista nocturna) puso voluntad pero tampoco pudo resolver mi requerimiento.

Mitten in der Altstadt

Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, Restaurants und Cafés in unmittelbarer nähe. Mir hat alles an dem Hotel gefallen, die Angestellten immer sehr nett und freundlich, das Zimmer immer sehr sauber und die Lage. Im Hotelrestaurant kann man sehr gut und preiswert essen.

Tolle Lage in Stadtzentrumsnähe, vieles wunderbar fussläufig erreichbar. Zimmerausstattung ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, da sollte man mal Erneuerungen vornehmen. Nur Pulverkaffee auf dem Zimmer, aber Frühstück (extra buchbar) war gut.

Hotellet har ikke selv parkering men der udleveres P-billet til nærliggende P-hus. Værelset var pænt stort men lidt slidt. Kaffe og vand på værelset - wifi var også ok. Morgenbuffet ikke prangende men der manglede ikke noget. Super fin service i receptionen i forbindelse med ændring af min reservation

Muss nicht wieder, überteuert

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Anreise sehr schwierig. Die gratis Parkplätze sind teilweise 400m entfernt. Man erreicht sie nur mit Begleitung. Auch das Rausholen des Autos ist nicht ohne. Ich werde nicht wieder hinfahren. Das Personal wirkt nicht wirklich fähig und gepflegt.
